This was the result of two class projects. I was in an illustration class where we were assigned the task of drawing objects with a common theme. We then were asked to manipulate the line drawings in Photoshop. I wanted to include these illustrations in my portfolio and one of my instructors suggested I create a “gig” poster for a band. This was the result.

The hand drawings were scanned into Photoshop where I colorized them. I then picked the best resulting drawings and arranged them in a playful composition with a sunny background and “splatters of ink” to harken back to the original line drawings.
